DoorDash and Uber Eats consulting for restaurants

For restaurant owners who run their own delivery apps and want an expert to look at the setup and tell them what to change. We review your DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub stores, campaigns, prices and fees, then hand you a written action plan that you or your team carry out. No ongoing management, and very little back and forth.

Book it once, or keep us on as a monthly advisor while you run the day to day.

WHO IT'S FOR

Who is delivery app consulting for?

Owners who are already in the merchant portals and want a second set of eyes. You know your food and your kitchen. What you want is someone who reads these apps every day to tell you what's working, what's wasting money and what to try next.

  • Owners who run their own apps and want an expert review and a plan, without paying for weekly management.
  • Chains and franchise groups that want a second opinion before signing a rep's campaign plan, changing commission plans or rolling a promo out to every store.
  • Teams with a marketing or ops lead who handles the apps and wants a specialist to check the plan and answer questions month to month.
  • New stores getting ready to launch on DoorDash and Uber Eats that want the setup right from the first order.

If you'd rather not touch the apps at all, full management is the better fit. We'll tell you which one makes sense on the first call.

CONSULTING OR MANAGEMENT

Do you need a DoorDash consultant or a management agency?

Both start with the same review of your stores. The difference is who does the work after it, and how much of your time it takes.

Diagram comparing consulting and management. Consulting: free call together, you share access or reports, Blender Digital audits your setup and writes an action plan, you make the changes, then a follow-up call together. Management: free call, you give manager access, Blender Digital audits and sets goals, you approve the plan, Blender Digital runs it every week and sends a monthly report.
Same review at the start. In consulting you run the changes; in management we do.

FORMATS

How can you work with us as a consultant?

Two ways, both priced as a flat fee and quoted after a free 30-minute call.

WHAT A CONSULT COVERS

What do we review in a DoorDash and Uber Eats consult?

The same audit we run in the first two weeks of a managed program, scoped to the stores and platforms you choose.

  • Storefront, menu and photosYour marketplace page as a customer sees it on a phone: hero image, photo coverage, item names and descriptions, menu order and what's marked popular.
  • Pricing and markupsYour delivery prices against your in-store prices and against nearby competitors, and whether the markup covers what each app takes.
  • Campaigns and adsWhat's running, who it targets, what it costs per new customer, and whether your BOGO items can afford the discount. Stacked offers on the same customers get flagged.
  • Commission plan reviewWhich DoorDash and Uber Eats plan you're on, what it costs you on delivery and pickup, and whether a different plan fits how you sell.
  • Rep negotiation coachingWhat to ask your account manager for, like co-funding or ad credits, what to turn down, and how to word the email so it gets a reply.
  • Competitor checkThe restaurants near you on the apps: what they discount, how they price and how they're rated, so your plan is set against the real market.
  • Reviews and error chargesYour rating trend, how you reply, and which error charges you could have disputed, so you can see where money is leaking.
  • Goals to measure againstA monthly sales and payout target for each app, so you can tell in 30 days whether the changes worked.

WHAT YOU GET

What do you walk away with?

Something you can act on that night, written in plain language.

A written action plan

Numbered issues, each with the fix, with screenshots numbered to match. The highest-impact changes come first.

A campaign plan

Which offers to run, on which items, for which customers, and what to switch off. With the item math behind any BOGO.

Monthly targets

Sales and payout goals per platform, so you're judging results on full months, not on one slow Tuesday.

Rep talking points

The asks for your DoorDash and Uber Eats account managers, written so you can send them as they are.

A walkthrough call

We go through the plan together and answer questions, so nothing in it is a guess when you sit down to make the changes.

A follow-up call

After you've made the changes, we look at what moved and what to do next.

HOW IT RUNS

How does a consult work?

Minimal back and forth. Most of the work happens on our side.

  1. Free 30-minute call

We look at your stores together, hear what you're trying to fix, and quote a flat fee. If management fits you better, we'll say so.

  2. Share access or reports

Add us as a user, or send recent reports and screenshots. We also review your public store pages the way a customer sees them.

  3. We do the audit

Storefront, prices, campaigns, fees, reviews, errors and the competitors around you, measured against your own numbers.

  4. You get the written plan

An action plan in priority order, with screenshots and targets, sent before the walkthrough call so you can read it first.

  5. You make the changes

You or your team carry out the plan. Questions along the way go to email.

  6. Follow-up call

We check the results against the targets and set what's next. Monthly advisory repeats this every month.

IN PRACTICE

What does advisory work look like in practice?

Two advisory engagements. Clients are anonymized.

FAQ

Questions about consulting

What does a DoorDash consultant do for a restaurant?

Looks at your store the way the platforms and your customers do, finds what's costing you orders or payout, and tells you what to change. In a Blender Digital consult that means a review of your storefront, menu and prices, your campaigns and ads, your commission plan, your reviews and error charges, and the competitors near you. You get a written action plan, a call to walk through it, and a follow-up call after you've made the changes.

How much does DoorDash and Uber Eats consulting cost?

It's a flat fee, quoted after a free 30-minute call, once we know how many locations and platforms you want covered. Monthly advisory is also a flat monthly fee. If you'd rather have us run the apps for you, managed programs start at $1,030 a month for one location, and those prices are on the pricing section.

Do you need access to my DoorDash and Uber Eats accounts?

It helps, but you choose. The most useful review comes from seeing your merchant portals directly, so we can read campaign results, customer mix, payouts and error charges. If you'd rather not add a user, recent reports and screenshots work, and we look at your public storefront pages the same way a customer does. We don't change anything in your accounts during a consult.

What's the difference between consulting and full management?

Who does the work after the review. With consulting, we review your setup and hand you a written plan, and you or your team make the changes. With management, we're in your portals every week running campaigns, replying to reviews, reviewing error charges and reporting against monthly goals, and you approve the plan. Consulting takes less of your money and more of your time.

Can I start with a consult and move to management later?

Yes. Some owners want to see how we think before handing over the apps, and a consult is a good way to do that. If you decide later that you'd rather not run it yourself, the audit is already done and we can pick up from the plan.

Want an expert to look at your setup?

In a free 30-minute call we'll pull up your DoorDash and Uber Eats stores, tell you what stands out, and quote a flat fee for a full consult.
