Blender Digital vs other DoorDash and Uber Eats agencies

Blender Digital does one thing: we manage restaurants’ DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub storefronts, plus Toast on our Growth plan. Our prices are on the website, review replies and dispute prep for error charges come with every plan, and engagements run 4 or 6 months with no ongoing retainer.

Most other agencies in this space are built for larger multi-location groups, sell delivery next to other marketing services, and quote their price on a call. Neither model is wrong. The table below shows the differences so you can pick the one that fits your restaurant.

Credit where it’s due: Spice’s team includes former Uber Eats and DoorDash account managers and it publishes case studies with well-known multi-unit brands, Pimentón covers markets we don’t, and TODC has been doing delivery marketing since 2017. If one of those fits you better, the honest section below says so.

WHERE WE’RE DIFFERENT

What you get with Blender that’s hard to find elsewhere

Delivery is the whole job

We don’t sell social media, email or TikTok ads. Every hour goes into your DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub storefronts: campaigns, sponsored listings, menu, pricing, reviews and errors. At a full-service agency, delivery is one line item among many. Here it’s the only one.

The price is on the page

Starter is $1,030 a month on a 6-month program or $1,150 on 4 months. Growth, which adds Toast and first-party ordering, is $1,440 or $1,600. You can check the math against your sales before you ever get on a call. See pricing.

Reviews and disputes are in every plan

We reply to reviews with an offer to bring the customer back, and we review every error charge daily, check with your location manager, and prepare the disputes for you to submit on the ones that weren’t your fault, like courier mix-ups. These charges look small. One prospect we spoke with had lost $1,198 in a single month across 2 stores. For the stores we manage, recovery runs $200 to $1,200+ per location a month, depending on volume.

Built to end, not to renew forever

A focused 4 or 6 month program: set a baseline and goal, test campaigns, grow, then shift to profit. By the end you know which settings matter and how to run them. You aren’t signing up for a 12 to 18 month line item.

We report the number that hits your bank

Payout ratio is how many cents you keep on each dollar of delivery sales after commission, promos, ads and errors. We report it every month next to sales, on full months, so a busy Tuesday or a dead Wednesday doesn’t drive decisions. How payout works.

Small restaurants are welcome

You don’t need five locations to work with us. A Yemeni coffee house in Atlanta went from $421 to $4,101 in delivery sales in its first month with us (Dec 2025 to Jan 2026, Uber Eats + DoorDash). At the other end, we've managed delivery for a single brand across 45+ locations (Haraz Coffee House), plus multi-brand ghost kitchens. See results.

Promos that make money

Anyone can switch on buy-one-get-one. We pick BOGO items by margin and split premium extras into paid add-ons, so $13.20 nachos with $2.20 of food cost carry the promo and a $15.40 chicken bowl with $5.30 of food cost doesn’t. How we set up BOGO.

Free tools you can use without us

We built a payout ratio Chrome extension and free calculators for BOGO profit, menu markup and agency ROI. Use them to check any agency’s numbers, including ours. Open the tools.

AGENCY OR SOFTWARE?

Do you need an agency or delivery software?

Software tools do some of the same jobs, at volume. They’re a good fit for large groups with someone in-house to act on what the software finds.

Voosh

Software for dispute recovery, review replies, a promotions manager, payout reconciliation and store uptime across DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub. It also lists an optional managed service for ads and promotions. Pricing isn’t published.

Loop AI

A data platform for multi-unit operators that ties sales, finance and operations together, with third-party reconciliation and promo comparisons across DoorDash and Uber Eats. Pricing is by demo.

Software can file thousands of disputes and draft replies across hundreds of stores. It won’t decide which items should carry your BOGO, push back on a rep who wants to double your ad budget, or tell you a campaign should end. That’s judgment work, and it’s what you pay an agency for. We use software too. A person still makes the call.

First-party ordering platforms like Owner.com do a different job again: they run ordering on your own website. We don’t compete with them. We manage the marketplaces where most delivery customers already are. Third party vs first party.

HOW TO CHOOSE

What does a DoorDash management agency do?

A DoorDash or Uber Eats management agency runs your delivery storefronts for you. That means setting up and testing promotions, managing sponsored listing budgets, fixing the menu, prices and photos, replying to reviews, reviewing error charges and dealing with the platform reps. A good one reports each month on what you actually kept, and you approve the big decisions. Who owns what when you hire an agency.

How much does a DoorDash or Uber Eats management agency cost?

Most agencies charge a monthly fee per location and quote it on a call. Ours is published: from $1,030 a month for one location on a 6-month program, or $1,150 on a 4-month program. For a single location, the full program runs $4,120 to $8,640 depending on plan and length. Groups with 3 or more locations get a custom quote.

Whatever you pay, the fee should be covered by the extra profit the channel makes, not just extra sales. Run your own numbers in the ROI calculator before you sign with anyone.

What should you ask before signing?

Ask every agency these questions, us included. Get the answers in writing.

  1. Who runs my account day to day?And how many other accounts does that person handle?
  2. Do you reply to my reviews, and who writes the replies?Reviews feed ranking and conversion. They shouldn’t be an extra.
  3. How do you handle error charges?Which ones, how often, and how will I see what you recovered?
  4. What’s the monthly price?A number, before the call ends, and what it includes.
  5. How long is the commitment, and how do I leave?Know the term and the notice period.
  6. Will you report my payout ratio every month?Sales without payout is half the story.
  7. Do I approve promos and ad spend before they go live? It’s your money and your margin.
  8. Do I keep ownership of my accounts and data? The agency should have manager access, not your logins.
  9. Can I see results with the time window and platforms named?“3x growth” means nothing without a start month, an end month and which apps.
  10. What will I be able to run myself when we’re done?If the answer is nothing, you’re buying a dependency.

STRAIGHT ANSWER

When Blender isn’t the right fit

  • You want one agency for everything. If you want paid social, email and creative bundled with delivery, a full-service shop like Spice is set up for that. We stick to the delivery platforms.
  • You’re mostly outside the US, or on Rappi or PedidosYa. Pimentón works in Latin America and Europe. We only work with US restaurants.
  • You run 100+ units and want enterprise tooling. Software like Voosh or Loop, or an enterprise program like TODC’s, may suit a large system with its own team.
  • You want someone on retainer indefinitely. Our programs are designed to end after 4 or 6 months.
  • You don’t have a growth goal. If you’re happy for delivery to stay small, you probably don’t need an agency at all.

FAQ

Questions about choosing a delivery agency

Who are Blender Digital’s competitors?

The agencies restaurant owners most often compare us with are Spice, a US agency for multi-location brands; Pimentón, which works mainly in Latin America and Europe; and TODC (The On Demand Company), which focuses on virtual brands and enterprise delivery marketing. Software tools like Voosh and Loop AI cover some of the same jobs, such as disputes and reconciliation, without a managed team making the decisions.

Is Blender Digital cheaper than Spice?

We can’t say for sure, because Spice doesn’t publish its prices. Its site says pricing starts with a monthly retainer sized to your location count. Blender Digital starts at $1,030 a month for one location on a 6-month program. Compare quotes on the same scope: platforms covered, review replies, error disputes and commitment length.

Do I need an agency or software like Voosh?

Software is built for volume: filing disputes and drafting review replies across many stores. It works best for large groups with someone in-house to act on what it finds. An agency also makes the decisions, like which items get a promo, how much to spend on ads and when to stop a campaign. Many single and small multi-location restaurants don’t have that person in-house, which is where an agency fits.

Does Blender Digital work with single-location restaurants?

Yes. Our Starter plan is built for one location, and several of our published results come from single stores. We also manage multi-location and multi-brand groups, with custom pricing for 3 or more locations.

How long are Blender Digital’s contracts?

Our programs run 4 or 6 months with no ongoing retainer. The 6-month program has the lower monthly price. The goal is to grow the channel and leave you able to run it yourself.
